I read this book in one sitting, because it was that good. The book is well written, the characters well developed, believable, and likeable. The bad guys are very unlikeable. The romance develops and amazingly the heroine's and hero's problems, which seem insurmountable, get resolved, through courage, perseverance, goodness, and love. It's a good book. I recommend it.

Great seller and book!
This romance was perf!! I mean, it wasn't too touchy but they certainly had chemistry. D The plot was pretty original. If you love a medieval book with YA romance (me!!) Then this book is definitely for you.

I actually borrowed this book from a library but it was so good, I had to buy it! That just explain how good this book is. Since I rarely buy books.

Tashi - I think Taoshira made a really good main character. Although she was reluctant to talk at first, I totally feel for that girl. I mean, she was sixteen at a foreign country. Come on. I'm just mad that Tashi and Ram got kidnapped almost when they first meet. I think the romance would have been better if they established a relationship first.

Ram - Well, from the sounds of it, Ram seems like a great guy. A great king? Errr can't say. Maybe he'll grow up for Tashi. I was a bit mad that he kept on denying his love for Tashi. His name though. Ram? Okay. I guess. It doesn't sound that appealing but it doesn't sound that ugly either.

Overall, YA romance lovers, this book is the one for you! Go read it! D
A magical story that balances a classic prince and princess story with modern charisma and flair. Tashi and Ramil offer witty banter and beautiful character development. With the perfect combination of adventure and romance readers will be enchanted by Golding's writing.
My 13yr old has become a Julia Golding fan, and has read most of her books. She even has me reading them now, and I have to agree that almost every book - including this one - has been well written and entertaining literature. I am very careful with the movies and books that my children are exposed to, and I must say that I am very pleased with all of Julia Golding's books.
A clash of cultures, a terrifying abduction, daring escapes, political intrigue, a love story; this book has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed every page. I highly recommend and will be looking for more from this author!
I wanted a book that was entertaining but simple and this one does it well. Its not very original, but sometimes familiarity can be comforting. The only thing I truly disliked was how quickly the ending was thrown together, but I enjoyed the beginning and middle. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something easy to pass the time.
